Do I have to pay for the retreat when I register?
You can pay in full when booking, or If choosing to pay a deposit or in payment installments, the first payment is due at the time of the registration to hold your space. The remainder is due by February 19, 2026.

What is the dress code and what kind of weather should I expect?
Dress for comfort and changing temperatures throughout the day. Winter in Colorado averages in the mid-40s. Layering clothes will work well.
Please bring shoes suitable for hiking that have a firm tread and support for various terrains.

What is on the menu?
The Hideaway Inn prepares vegetarian-vegan, gluten-free, to create healthy, nourishing meals.
Alcohol is not served. Coffee, Tea, and Hot Chocolate are available all day.
If needed, guests can bring additional food and store it in the refrigerator to accommodate dietary needs.

What are transportation options?
The Colorado Springs Airport is located 30 minutes from The Hideaway Inn, and Denver International Airport is a 50-minute drive. Please contact Dena at dena@lightofmine.org for help with coordinating transportation options from the airport to event.

What is your cancellation policy?
The event has a $100 non-refundable fee. The remainder of the cost, less any processing fees, is refundable until Feb. 19, 2026.

What about inclement weather?
No refunds are issued due to bad weather, unless the state or interstate highways between point of origin and The Hideaway have been officially closed.

What time is room checkout at The Hideaway
Check-out is 10am, but please see the schedule for Sunday checkout and activities. The retreat finishes at 2pm on Sunday.
