Do I have to pay for the Event and Lodging at the same time? 

No, the payment for the event and lodging are separate, although the event has a special reduced rate for registration and payment on or before January 15, 2016. Lodging is due on or before May 11, 2017.

What accommodations are included with the lodging?

In addition to the meals, The Nature Place accommodations includes miles of self-guided hiking trails on their private land, and is adjacent to thousands of acres of National Forest and to the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument. The Sportsplex has a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, exercise and weight room. The lodge also offers natural science displays, a baby grand piano, satellite television, an entertainment system and a game room, with ping-pong, pool and foosball. Most of the campus has wireless Internet access and a wrap-around deck with magnificent and ever-changing views. The Nature Place has plenty of parking available on site at no cost. Laundry service can be provided for a slight charge.

What is the dress code and what kind of weather should I expect?

Dress code for comfort and changing temperatures throughout the day. Late Spring in the mountains will be chilly in the mornings and evenings and it will warm up during the day. Layering clothes will work well. Also bring hiking shoes or shoes that have a strong tread and support for various terrain.

The dining experience?  

The Nature Room provides delicious home-cooked meals served buffet style. For mid-morning and afternoon breaks, fruit and other healthy snacks are provided. The Nature Place also offers 4 choices for those with special dietary requirements. An additional meal charge of $3 per lunch and $5 per dinner (no extra for breakfast) will be applied for those who choose this option from their website. A salad bar is always available. Alcohol will not served.

Transportation options?
 
The Colorado Springs Airport is located 52 miles from The Nature Place. Denver International Airport is located 2 ½ hours from the conference center. It is best to fly into Colorado Springs because it is a lot closer to The Nature Place. Please contact Tracy Lawson at mahasoulstudio@gmail.com or 720-394-7337 to help coordinate transportation options from the airport to The Nature Place.

What is the cancellation policy?

The event has a $100 non-refundable fee and the remainder of the cost is refundable until March 31, 2017. After April 1, 2017 the remainder of the event cost is transferred to another Embrace retreat.
